The poem depicts the condition of an impractical man who merely boasts and does not bring his words into action. He is exactly like the weeds in the garden which later seems like a garden full of snow. That garden is no more fruitful and has no worth. Likewise, when the snow begins to fall, it appears to be an idle bird on the wall. Sooner, it flies purposelessly in the sky like an eagle and the roaring of the sky is like a lion at the door. At that particular moment, the man feels pain and anxiety. He realizes that he has achieved nothing and the time has been passed. He regrets that he has not performed any admirable task and when the death ceases him, he is not remembered any more.
