What case did the young men bring to Hazrat Umar Farooq رضي الله عنهم?

The young man brought a case to Hazrat Umar (R.A) by holding a strong and well-built countryman. He complained to Hazrat Umar (R.A) that the person had murdered his old father. They asked the Caliph to decide the case in favor of him and put forward a demand to punish the murderer for his crime with justice.

Why did the old man hurl a stone at the camel?

When the villager reached the garden along with his camel. The camel ate a few hanging leaves from the branch of the tree. When the old man saw that, he hurled a stone with all his might at the camel and that severely hurt it on its head and the camel died.

The criminal was allowed to leave on a condition that he had to appoint someone as his surety, a person who would be willing to suffer death if he failed to return. The criminal selected Hazrat Abuzar Ghaffari (R.A) as his surety. On getting acceptance from Hazrat Abuzar Ghaffari (R.A) for standing as a surety for the criminal, he was allowed to leave.

Why did the villager ask Hazrat Umar Farooq رضي الله عنهم to delay the execution?

The villager asked Hazrat Umar (R.A) to delay the execution because his father left some gold that he buried in the earth in the fields and no one knows the place. He had to give his younger brother his due share that’s why he wanted to go back and hand over that gold to a trustee so his brother would get his due share after his death otherwise if his brother did not get then he would get punishment on the Day of Judgment.

Why were Sahabas رضي الله عنهمworried?

The Sahabs (R.A) were worried because of Hazrat Abuzar Ghaffari (R.A) as he became the surety for the villager. The villager requested for three days delay in his execution. It was the third day when the villager didn’t return. At that moment, all the Sahabas (R.A) became anxious for the life of their beloved friend Hazrat Abuzar Ghaffari (R.A) as he had to give his life if the villager was unable to reach that day on time.

Why did the accusers forgive the villager?

When the villager returned to the court of the Caliph in time, everyone was astonished at the honesty and faithfulness of the villager as he had a golden chance to run away to save his life but he came back. Being impressed by the good moral character, honesty, and faithfulness of the villager, the accusers forgave him wholeheartedly and also refused to take the blood money from him.

Answer:

It is very important to consider the scope of any field before opting for it. The reason behind is the market demand and hiring trends. If a person selects such career that is not in demand in the market then it is quite difficult for him to get a good job as his education or qualification is outdated or not according to the latest trends of the market.

Answer:

Yes, there is a genuine need for proper career counseling department as this provides the appropriate guideline to the students as well as to their parents about selecting the right career according to the interest, aptitude, and abilities of the student and also by focusing on the scope of that specific profession in the years to come. In this way, time, energy and resources of the students and their parents are not wasted in case of students’ failure in any of the unwanted or forced discipline.

Failure is the stepping stone towards the success and it gives us the courage to build our selves. It depends on a person’s attitude towards failure, if he perceives it in a positive sense then no doubt it is failure that teaches many lessons to a person like how to deal with harsh situations, how to face the reality or how to face the near and dear ones.

How is a failure not a disgrace?

Failure is not a disgrace but a step toward success. If we keep on trying, we will win. but for that, we should not give up on trying in shame.

How many times should we try and why?

Efforts do not seek numbers. Courage will only be developed if we remain steadfast, patient and try harder.

What should we do if we find our task hard?

If we find our task hard and difficult to accomplish, we should not give up. Instead, we should try again. Time will bring us the fruit of our labor.

Give an example of a struggle from your life?

I tried hard to win the award of Excellency in my school for two consecutive years but did not succeed. I kept on participating in every competition and at last, I was able to win that award with great honor.

When does Chinese New Year start?

Chinese year never falls on the same day every year as it follows the lunar calendar that is based on the phases of the moon. It typically falls somewhere between January 21st and February 20th.

Chinese families do thorough cleaning of their homes before the New Year day so to eradicate any bad luck from the previous year and clear the way for good luck from the New Year.

Black color is not allowed on the New Year, due to its associated with scaring and warding off bad spirits. Whereas, red color is encouraged due to its association scaring and warding off bad spirits.

Decoration on doors and window for the Chinese New Year is customary. It is associated with welcoming good luck, prosperity and good fortune. The word fu is inscribed on them, which refers to luck and glorious future wishes.

New Year dinner is of great significance in Chinese customs as it symbolizes bringing good luck. Large dinners typically eight or nine in number, are served to the guests. These numbers signify “prosperity” and “long-lasting”.

1. How can people achieve perfection in the moral, spiritual and social areas of life?

Answer:

People can achieve perfection in their moral, spiritual and social areas of life through following Hazrat Muhammad’sﷺ message and guidance. He was truthful and honest in his business dealings as well as very fair and just in setting social disputes. Once there was a conflict arose among people regarding the Black Stone during the reconstruction of Kaa’ba. He ﷺ advised the most equitable plan for the setting of the Black stone which pleased everyone and saved them from tribal conflict.

How did the Holy Prophet ﷺ set high and noble ideals for all mankind?

Holy Prophet ﷺ set high and noble ideals through his practical life for all mankind. He treated every one justly and fairly according to the principles of Islam. Once a Quraish woman was found guilty of stealing. People of her tribe wanted to save her from punishment in order to protect the tribe’s honor but Hazrat Muhammad very furiously rejected the request and punished her according to the law.

3.  How were people of Makkah convinced of the Holy Prophet’s ﷺ justice even before his Prophethood?

Answer:

The people of Makkah were convinced of Holy Prophet’s ﷺ  Justice before his Prophet Hood because he always had fair and just dealing with all people. During the reconstruction of Kaaba, he solved the dispute so amicably regarding the Black Stone that all were convinced of his honesty and sense of justice.

4.  What standards of justice did the Holy Prophet ﷺ practice as head of the state of Medinah?

Answer:

As the head of the state, he resolved all the cases purely on merit with justice and equity irrespective of color, creed or race. Once a Qureish woman was found guilty of stealing. People of her tribe wanted to save her from punishment in order to protect the tribe’s honor but Hazrat Muhammad very furiously rejected the request and said that the people before were destroyed just because they have treated people unjustly. Poor were punished and rich were forgiven. 

5.  What made non-Muslims bring their suits to the Holy Prophet ﷺ?

Answer:

He decided all the cases purely on merit with justice and equity irrespective of color, creed or race that even the Jews who were his bitter enemies brought their suits to him, and he decided their cases according to the Jewish law.  As Hazrat Muhammad said, “If you judge, judge in equity between them. For God loves those who  judge in equity.”

6.  How does the Quran describe the personality of the Holy Prophet ﷺ?

Answer:

The Holy Quran clearly mentions about him “We have indeed, in the messenger of God, a good example (of conduct) for anyone whose hope is in God and the Final Day.” His life is a perfect example and guidance for everyone, all ages and every field of life.
