Not Trading Concerns
Not trading concerns refer to non-profit organizations that do not engage in trading activities to generate profits or revenue. Examples of not trading concerns include charities, religious organizations, government agencies, and educational institutions. Since these organizations do not engage in business activities, their financial reporting requirements may differ from those of for-profit organizations. For instance, instead of a profit and loss statement, not trading concerns may have an income and expenditure statement that shows their sources of income and how they spent the money. They may also be required to report their activities and how they fulfill their charitable or social objectives to regulatory bodies or to their stakeholders.
