The Comcast University of Islamabad was established in 1994 for the Sustainable Development of Science for Technology in the South, an intergovernmental organization aimed at promoting sustainable development in developing countries through science and technology. It is spread over six campuses, the main campus in the central capital Islamabad.

Although still a young institution, it has a strong reputation in the region for its research and teaching, especially in the fields of IT and computer science, and as a result, it has a high ranking in the regional rankings. Location is available. The Islamabad campus has more than 5,000 students, while its satellite campuses in Abbottabad, Attock, Vehari, Lahore, Wah, and Sahiwal have around 30,000 classes.

The university offers a wide range of degrees at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The subjects are divided into nine departments, each of which offers approximately 100-degree programs. Teaching is in English, and spending relatively little tuition makes it an attractive option for international students who want to specialize in information technology or computer science.
